Patriot Pen-Faux Lapis Lazuli Pen
God Bless America. This is what is etched on the center band. This reminds me of the song, God Bless the U.S.A., by Lee Greenwood which was my favorite song while serving in Desert Storm. This pen has many elements to remind us to never forget how lucky we are to live in a free country! The clip has the stripes and stars from the flag, and is topped with our bald eagle. The end has U.S.A. etched in it and a border of laurel leaves. All of the pen elements are chrome. I made the barrels out of polymer clay which is wrapped around metal tubes. I used a technique that looks like the Lapis Lazuli gemstone.

Fordite Patriotic Mustang Paint Twist Style Pen Embedded In Colorful Acrylics #51
This custom made patriotic pen, personally made by Bob Belz, was created with embedded select pieces of Fordite placed within colorful acrylics, then carefully hand turned and polished on a lathe. Fordite was a by-product of an older automotive process where paint became layered and hardened on production racks as vehicles were being painted. Eventually the paint over spray was removed from the racks and mostly discarded, but some creative individuals saved it for other uses such as jewelry. The Fordite in this pen is from Ford Mustang Plant.
