Patriotic American Flag XL Lap Quilt or throw 41.5" x 74.5"
Show your pride with this American Flag themed Quilt. The quilt measures 41.5" x 74.5" the fabric and the batting are both cotton. It is pictured on a twin size bed. This quilt will make an extra large throw/lap quilt or will even fit the top of a twin bed. The back of the quilt is chevron in light blue and white. The stripes have been "stitched in the ditch" and there are 50 "free motion quilted" stars on the star fabric.
Scrappy Courthouse Steps Quilt
This is called a "scrappy" quilt because, unlike quilts with repetitive patterns, this quilt is made with my extensive collection of high quality fabrics. The arbitrary piecing coupled with the courthouse steps pattern has a richness to it that you will never look at the same way twice. The back is a colorful print of vintage postage stamps. The traditional patriotic red, white and blue design would look beautiful in an all-American home or second home/cabin. The dimensions are 86" x 67" and could fit a traditional twin bed or be used as a tablecloth. Please be advised that this is a flat quilt with a preshrunk seamless 100% cotton flannel filling instead of a traditional batting.

Red white and blue Queen sized quilt
Just in time for 4th of July! This is a traditional style patchwork style Quilt. Machine pieced and Quilted by me. Its made with 100 % cotton Fabrics, and 100% warm and natural cotton Batting. It measure 92 X 70 as shown here on an Oversized Queen sized mattress. I put some decrotive stitching around the border and down the white stripes throughout the quilt. Its has a high quality white muslin for the backing, Very sharp quilt!! For the patriotic room, or would go well on a boat it seems to have a nautical appeal to it. This beautiful handmade flag quilt was made in my smoke free home. This handmade piece was cut, assembled and sewn by MotherDaughterSewn in Country Primitive colors of cranberry, natural and navy which is a beautiful alternative to tradition primary red, white & blue. The 50 stars were hand cut and machine appliqued individually. Fabrics used: Three layers of flannel is used for the entire flag, the top exposes the traditional rag edge at all seams & edges and the back is the same pattern a mirror image of the front with the stitching from the stars showing in the blue and all sewn seams, with only rag edges on the perimeter, the center is white flannel that adds both warmth and to the beauty of the ragging. Finished Size : approximately 50" x 66" ( a little smaller than a 4'x6' flag)

Twin Quilt, Vintage Fabrics
This quilt is made from a vintage quilt top that had been tucked away for many years. The color combinations the original artist used are fun and scrappy. Bright and cheery for sure. It is backed with two different complimentary fabrics. Interesting and pleasing. It's great that this quilt was finally "born" after all these years! You'll have fun just looking at all the old prints in this quilt. It measures 75 x 90 inches and contains Warm and Natural batting. She calls this size a "twin" although it would also work as a full coverlet in my opinion. It is shown here on a full size bed.

Freedom Lives Quilt
The center part of this quilt is a panel . The top part - the soaring eagle - has been outline quilted along with the clouds. The middle section - with the Bill of Rights and the Preamble to the Constitution with the Liberty Bell in the center - were also outlined stitched and then random quilting was done to fill in the areas. The lower part - the Statue of Liberty with the New York skyline in the background - also all outlined quilted...the statue and the buildings that is. There is over 12 hours of quilting time in this quilt.

Quilt-Scrappy, Strip Throw Quilt Made from new and re-purposed Fabrics
This 59" X 72" lap/nap throw quilt is made of new and gently used fabrics. I try to up-cycle and re-purpose every chance I get. The backing is new fabric, but you will notice there is a small stain there. It shouldn't get noticed while you picnic! It is machine quilted and the binding machine sewn for longer durability. I used Quilters Dream 80/20 cotton/poly batting. Machine wash on cold and dry on medium.
