Handmade red white and blue glitter sparkle studs. Patriotic glitter studs. Square Wood post earrings made from a fallen tree branch. Studs are topped with a coat of resin to create a glass like finish. Posts are surgical steel, so are perfect for sensitive ears. These unique studs are made from the smallest storm damaged fallen tree branches, I don't like to let even the smallest branches go to waste. My family and I go on hikes in the woods and haul back arm loads of branches! I get my chop saw out, safety goggles on and start cutting! Each piece is sanded down smooth , created and sealed with a coat of resin to give a glass like finish. I have a passion for re-purposing and doing my part for our enviroment. I love to create out of found objects, so the two go hand in hand.

American Flag Studs - Red White and Blue Fourth of July
These earrings are inspired by and would be perfect for the upcoming July 4th holiday :) The earrings feature a patriotic flag design with one earring holding the white stars over a blue field and the other featuring red and white stripes. The design has been printed on photo paper and encased in a layer of epoxy for protection. The cabochon has been set inside an antiqued silver toned bezel.

Red, White and Blue Button Earrings
These cute little button earrings featuring a red, white and blue theme were handmade by me. I upcycled a pair of vintage art deco round plastic buttons in a bright crimson red with interesting geometric details around the edges. Layered over the 2 button holes are silver filigree flower shapes to represent the "white" with added blue rhinestone centers. The earrings are backed with nickel free, hypoallergenic plated metal post backs with butterfly clutches, suitable for sensitive ears. The red buttons are just over 5/8 inch in diameter, so I've fixed the backs in place toward the top of the buttons. That way the lower edge of the button earring will cover the average earlobe, or be slightly below if you have a shorter lobe. (the distance between the post and the lower edge is 3/8 in.)
