Girls Betsy Ross Colonial Ballgown
A handmade Betsy Ross Colonial Ballgown for women. Now we all know that Betsy Ross sewed the American flag...but she didn't wear the American flag. It drives me crazy that Betsy Ross costumes are made with stars and stripes. After a few of our customers asked for a Betsy Ross costume, we made our version. We gave in to the flag theme by choosing a calico of red, white and blue flowers. The Bodice and sleeves are trimmed with eyelet lace, and the apron and stomacher are embellished with red grosgrain ribbon. We have also included a white mob cap.
