American flag design. This sun catcher is hand cut from high quality, American made, stained glass. It is constructed in the Tiffany method, meaning that each cut piece of glass is wrapped with copper foil and hand soldered to the adjoining pieces. As a special finishing touch, a very special decorative solder work in applied by hand, giving a sparkling finish to the suncatcher. If you will look closely,you will notice that the decorative solder work is not something that you find on most stained glass pieces. Suncatcher measures 6 1/2" x 7 1/2".

The old doors had an inset window panel that would come out and you would put in a screen for the warm weather. It has all the original wood that hold the panes in place. It has been painted with a blue glossy chalk paint to coordinate with the handcrafted stain glass work and is adorned with white painted wooden stars. Comes with a long silver link chain over 6 ft.in length, which is left un-attached on one side so it can be adjusted to the appropriate length for where it would hang. It measures 57 inches x 24 inches x 2 inches.

It is done in Gallery Glass Paint that simulates a stained glass look. The design is done by hand onto a 8x10 styrene blank (so it is a lot lighter than glass and chances of it breaking are very minimal). The colors were done in 2 coats to give it deep brilliant colors. The small bubbles in the paint are normal and also adds a realistic touch of real stain glass. It was put in a dark brown frame. A black chain was then attached for hanging. It will also come with a suction cup for your window. Please see my shop policies for care of Gallery Glass items. I would advise not to put in a window that has strong full sun all day, as being this is painted, the colors COULD fade over time. I sealed it to help protect against this happening. Overall measurement is approx. 9 1/4" by 11 1/2".
Old Glory Star- 10 inch lacquered glass red white and blue patriotic star
We took Old Glory apart and reassembled her into a glorious 10 inch star. The 3 inch center of stars on an indigo background are surrounded by asymmetrical stripes of a deep red and white. The design is on 100 percent cotton paper lacquered to the reverse side of the glass. The shiny solder finishes it off. A great addition for the 4th of July, a welcome home for your solider, or a nautical themed room. Looks spectacular with our Bunting Boules.

Stained Glass Mosaic on Glass - Patriotic Tree
This piece was designed with Valentine's Day in mind, but the completed piece makes me think of patriotic themes. The design features a tree with red, pink and white leaves forming the foliage, with a second layer of leaves on top of the completed mosaic piece giving the tree a 3D quality. The background sky is then done in bright blue stained glass pieces. This is a beautiful art piece to either enjoy yourself, or to give to a friend/spouse/family member as a sign of love. It's also a rather unique way for a family of a veteran serving abroad to display their support of their loved one in a front window. Or it can serve as a beautiful visual "memorial" for the family of a veteran lost to battle (US flag colors, with the tree serving as a memory that the loved one still grows in your heart). Process: All of the stained glass pieces have been cut by hand, glued to the glass with high-quality glue and then grouted. Everything is then sprayed with a sealant to protect the glass and grout from wear and tear (and allowing the piece to be displayed outside if you prefer). Measurements: Frame - Width 7 1/4" x Height 9 1/4"
