It is absolutely no wonder why hot dogs will be consumed in record numbers in July. The 4th of July weekend makes it the biggest hot-dog eating holiday (according to the National Hot Dog Council, about 155 million hot dogs will be consumed on the 4th). Is it a coincidence that July is National Hot Dog Month?
