This is a square tan box with a lid and a white interior except for the inside of the lid which is tan and yellow striped. I decorated the box in a patriotic theme with a white thick paper doily, red, white and blue flag bunting embellishments, a gold embossed Dresden eagle and the word "America" on a material 3D sticker. The edge of the lid is decorated with red curly ribbon and the perimeter of the bottom of the box is decorated with a gold embossed Dresden lace edging that is 2" wide. The box is perfect for adding to your patriotic decor or to give as a hostess gift for a 4th of July gathering (perhaps with some chocolates inside?). It also could be a nice gift for a person in the military service or for a Veteran. It is 4 3/4" square on the top by 3 1/4" deep.

Just created this design for these stacking boxes for the upcoming July issue of the Country Sampler magazine. I am so pleased with how they turned out. They are a spin from my little set of 3 oval boxes. A stars and stripes theme if you will. The bottom box is a khaki tan color with our Americana flag painted on. The next box is my traditional navy blue color with USA painted on in tan with small burgundy stars on the letters. Next another khaki tan colored box with burgundy stripes. I hand painted this wooden box in a beautiful patriotic theme using red, white and blue paints, distressed the edges and added "aged" pieces of music that were decoupaged onto the top and sides. Then it was waxed to a nice finish. The top was embellished with USA scrabble letters and a rubbed bronze finish handle for easy use. The measurements are 10" long x 5" wide and 4 1/2" high with the handle. The inside measurements are 9 x 4 x 2 1/8 high.

Show your patriotism all year round with this gorgeous star box! I painted a star shaped wooden box with metallic blue paint and distressed the lid and underside with crackle medium and red paint. I added a denim ribbon with red and white stars around the lid. I sealed the entire box with Mod Podge. The box measures about 3 1/4" at its widest and 2" tall. The inside measures about 1 1/4" deep and 2" wide. The lid is magnetic, so it won't fall off if flipped over.

I love Americana and patriotic pieces. I designed this box and had the wooden top cut so napkins would be accessible without removing the top but would not blow away at a windy picnic. Artist's oil paint was used to paint the original design of a realistic flag and pole over an acrylic base coat. Primitive Olde Glory Americana Flag and 1776 Stars Large Set of 3 Round Stacking Boxes. Love the Americana look of this new design of stacking boxes. It's a nice larger set of round stacking boxes. If you have a set of 7 boxes, that I also do, these are the bottom 3 largest boxes from that set. The bottom box has been painted a dark navy blue with hand lettered OLDE GLORY painted on. The middle box has a hand painted American flag on a khaki tan colored box. The top box is burgundy with the 13 colony stars and 1776 in the middle. All boxes were sanded and stained for distressed primitive look. Made of paper mache.

PATRIOTIC FLAG Box, Dark Wood
Patriotic decor; sturdy rustic wooden box looks a little handmade, and a little bit not - maybe it was made to look that way. I found it at a farm distress sale in Illinois; history unknown, has no markings. The wood has been painted a dark cherry wood color, varnished, and on one side there’s a hand painted flag with 9 stars, 5 white stripes, and 5 red stripes. The round handle on top is made of dark translucent blue plastic or resin. All together the piece stands 12.5” high, top to bottom. Box sits inside a black metal stand with 4 spiral legs that elevate the box 2.5” off the floor; the actual box dimensions are 8 x 8 x 8” without the top. You can see (pic4) some abrasions on the top but they don't detract from the charm of the piece; other than that the box is in excellent condition;.
