The 4th of July will be here soon. What better way to celebrate our Nation's Independence day than with a relaxing BBQ with friends and family! Imagine a day filled with the scent of burgers and hot dogs sizzling on the grill. Recreate fun childhood memories by celebrating at a fireworks show on a crisp clear summer night. You can share these fun memories by capturing it all by taking Fourth of July pictures!

We take these nights for granted because they happen every year, and every year we party with the people we care to call friends and family. Maybe we take the 4th of July for granted because it's not considered as big as Thanksgiving or Christmas. We can sometimes forget to cherish this precious day. Taking Fourth of July pictures would help make the day special.

I believe we should make it a point to capture the youthful memories of the 4th of July with pictures and selfies so that we can have proof of our crazy stories, look back on outfits and decorations and remember our smiles forever.

Here are 4 Tips to take Fourth of July pictures in a  memorable way:

1. Have a fully charged electronic picture maker at the party!
Whether you're planning to use that really expensive events camera or the camera on your cell phone, you have to make sure your device is juiced up to last for hours. Check your memory also! You wouldn't want to miss out on a specific moment because you forgot to juice your electronics. Then you would have to rely on getting the photo from someone who did remember to come fully charged.  Speaking of Fourth of July picture devices, I think you can make your Fourth of July picture taking extra special with the use of an instant polaroid camera or even a waterproof disposable camera for those awesome water shots.

2. Capture your Traditions!
Admit it, We're all obsessed with selfies.  Just look at your facebook page or instagram account! And yes, we may want to show off our 4th of July Bikinis or Crazy Head Boppers because it's just part of our 4th of July craziness. And yes, 4th of July photo props on a stick are great. But remember to capture the fourth of july pictures through special traditions you have with your family and friends. Some great traditional fourth of july pictures opportunities are posing beside a box of fireworks, posing next to a flag.  Take a picture by the patriotic decorations or next to the person making the BBQ in a cool patriotic apron and oven mitts.

3. Swap photos with friends & family!
There are many ways to share your fourth of july pictures. Social media makes it easy. Make sure you get your friends to upload their photos as well. They might have captured great memories that you missed.

4. Preserve you memories so you don't lose them!
If you used a disposable camera, please make it a point to have the pictures developed as soon as possible. The longer you wait, the more likely you will never see the photos you took. Digital pictures on social media can get lost in the hundreds of photo you have uploaded already. So a great way to preserve your memories is to make a physical traditional photo album or scrapbook of your fond summer memories of the 4th of July. You can make many copies of your albums as Christmas gifts for the friends and family members who celebrated the most craziest fun fest ever with you.
